A behind-the-scenes look at the JSON used in SquaredUp

Join Matthew Long and Richard Benwell as they take a behind-the-scenes look at the JSON that defines SquaredUp dashboards and perspectives.

Starting with a brief overview of the JSON format, we then look at how that's used specifically within SquaredUp and how it can be easily manipulated to create pretty much any dashboard layout you can imagine.

The webinar also covers how to manipulate dashboards using PowerShell, walking you through a sample script that creates a template and updates Object ID's, a technique which can be used, for example, to automate the creation of dashboards for each application or to on-board a set of standard perspectives whenever a new Management Pack is imported into SCOM.

If you're interested in the PowerShell script, check out the samples in our Github repo (link below) or if you'd like access to any of the template layouts shown in the webinar, simply drop SquaredUp support a line and we'll be more than happy to provide them.
